Doctor Visit #3
On Thursday Karthik and I went to our third doctor visit. It was a very fast office visit. They just did the usual stuff (urine test, checked my weight, and used a doppler listen to the baby's heart beat). I was a little disappointed because I was really hoping that she would tell us what the sex is. Yes, I know it's still too early, but there is always hope. She said next visit they are going to do a Down Syndrome test. I'm not worried at all about it. I'm more anxious for her to do the ultrasound in two months so I can finally find out it it's a boy or girl. Can you tell that I really want to know what it is!!!????

I don't see why we have to wait 2 more months!! Seriously, that will be in January and you're not even going to be in the country in January. Do you think you could mail us some of your blood and we can submit it while you're in India and then we'll just send you a telegram or something to India to let you know what we find out?
LOL I get to find out two weeks before we go to India. But I do wish it was earlier because I read the best idea ever! If you get your results before Christmas, you have the doctor write it down and put it in an envelope. Then, you put the results under the tree and open it on Christmas morning! Isn't that best idea!!! Ooooor Karthik and I could have waited until our second anniversary (Dec 30) and opened it then!
Oooooooooorrr, you could do like the rest of us and be surprised at the very end!
Surprises are over-rated!
I'll still be surprised! Instead of being surprised in 6 months, I'll be surprised in 2! Also, I'll have cute clothes and stuff for a boy or girl. Everything won't have to be boring yellow and green!
